**Thank you to Minted for gifting me this amazing print. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
My home office is the one room in my house that I am constantly thinking about redecorating. Since it is technically an office/guest room, it makes my decor decisions a little trickier. I would love to try something bold and a little different from the rest of my house, but at the same time I want to create a serene sleep space for my guests.
After much debate, (and changing my mind A LOT!) I was ultimately inspired by a piece of art. I was shopping on Minted when I came across a print that has bold, deep shades of blue and green but also has my favorite blush tones. I knew immediately that it was perfect for the space! At that point I decided to design my room around this piece of artwork. I think I will be able to achieve my bold yet serene look!
I am at the very beginning stages of my redesign. However, I wanted to share with you what I have so far. My vision is to make the office portion of the room the focal point. The only piece of furniture I want to add is either another gold shelf or a gold garment rack. My goal is to keep it clean and simple so that the print takes main stage.
To showcase the print, I want to either add wallpaper to this wall or paint it a deep shade of green. My only concern with doing a dark green wall is that it will take away from the peaceful atmosphere I want to create for the guest room portion of the room. I have a feeling this will be the last decision I make regarding the design. I want to add the shelf or rack and then update the bedroom portion. Thankfully, the bedroom side needs minimal updating so it will be super easy!
I want to have this room completed by the end of January so I will make sure to share the finished space with you as soon as it is ready!
Do you have any redecorating plans? I would love to talk to you in the comments below!
