I have been sharing a great deal about my trip to Charleston but I wanted to share a few more details about where I stayed and a few delicious places to eat.
While in Charleston, we stayed at a small, charming inn that was right on King Street, called Kings Courtyard Inn. The Inn was so cute with a wonderful staff. Also, the location was perfect! If you aren’t familiar with Charleston, King Street is the main spot for all the amazing shopping. We were steps away from favorite stores and fabulous restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere (with the exception of a few places).
One of the most amazing dinners I have ever has was at the Drawing Room at the Vendue Hotel. The restaurant is gorgeous with chandeliers that are stunning and original to the hotel! The food was out of this world and the service was impeccable! If you go, you must try the soup with corn and crab. My mouth waters just thinking about it! There is also a rooftop bar for a sunset cocktail. You will not be disappointed!
Mira Winery is also another fun spot. It is a reservation only wine tasting room where you can sample the delicious wines from their vineyard in Napa. While you taste the different wines they offer, you also get an education on each wine. It was a fun and fascinating experience!
Another great restaurant with a view to die for is The Watch which is located on the rooftop of The Restoration Hotel. This is the lobby where you take the elevator to get to The Watch. We sat outside with a glass of rose and enjoyed the view for a while. It was beautiful! For dinner I had the roasted chicken and it was so good!
I truly had the best time while in Charleston and can’t wait to head back soon! There are so many wonderful places to stay, see and eat while you are there. It would be hard to have a bad time!
I hope you all have a wonderful day!
